Shoot & Save
Shoot and Save: D-Dey’s Shoot and Save program is a two-day, medical based class which incorporates live-fire scenarios to add stress and realism to the training program. Students will receive 8-hours of CEUs from NMAET TECC program, making this program ideal for the LEO as well as the firearms enthusiast. Students will be expected to perform basic trauma medicine, care under fire, tourniquet application, wound packing, and patient hand-off procedures while implementing the MARCH algorithm. Students should also expect to shoot a minimum 300 rounds while building or instilling pistol shooting fundamentals. The combination of medicine and live-fire scenarios produces a training environment that is as close as possible to real-world situations.
