D-Dey’s Long Range 1 course will take you from ground zero to consistently making 500 yard shots with your chosen platform. This is a two day course, with the first day being in the classroom and the second day will be spent at the range. We will include topics such as: gun setup, sight adjustment and zeroing, introduction to ballistics, using ballistic software, correcting for environmental factors, judging distance, and marksmanship. The course will culminate with a stress shoot, which will require the shooter to think on his or her feet to accomplish a course of fire, in an allotted time standard. This course is perfect for the avid hunter or sportsman, who wishes to have an expanded background and knowledge base, in order to make longer distance shots.
This course will be on November 22 & 23, 2020. The first day will be a classroom day at D-Dey Headquarters in Stuart, FL and the second day will be spent on the range at Okeechobee Shooting Sports in Okeechobee, FL.
Lunch will be provided. Please bring your own snacks and lunch if you have any food or dietary restrictions.
